rEFIt con Lion o Snow Leopard?

Ciao a tutti. nel web c'è un marasma di materiali , uno che contraddice l'altro e non ci si capisce un tubo, bisogna diventare il tenente colombo per collocare ogni articolo cronologicamente affinché si possa risalire all'era di questo o quell'aggiornamento di Snow Leopard o Lion.
Vorrei sapere da voi in questo momento se mi conviene installare Lion o Snow Leopard per essere il più compatibile possibile con rEFIt (con lo scopo di un dual boot Mac OS X/linux. Per me è totalmente indifferente l'uno o l'altro, basta che funzioni bene rEFIt.

Credo sia indifferente, ma con Snow Leopard vai sul sicuro.

Refit funziona perfettamente anche con lion. Vai tranquillo

refit funziona anche con lion (provato io) il problema ti si pone solo con alcuni mac (io ho un MBP 3,1 e ho questo problema) e il boot da dvd esterno che non è supportato.

Se hai ancora dvd interno e refit tutto ok anche con lion

Booting Windows or Linux from an external disk is not well-supported by Apple’s firmware. It may work for you, but if it does not work, there is nothing rEFIt can do about it.

Apple’s Boot Camp FAQ states that you can only install Windows on internal hard drives.

Note that at least Windows XP needs special patches to successfully boot from a USB or Firewire drive. That’s because it normally re-initializes the driver stack during the boot process in a way that disrupts its own access to the boot drive.

Perché c'è ancora qualcuno a cui funziona il superdrive interno con il macbook simile al nostro?

a me non funziona più e l'ho sosituito con un hdd che avevo in casa da 320 gb
