Quick Time Player, registrazione schermo; e Skype

Quando cerco di registrare lo schermo con Quick Time la registrazione parte ma si ferma immediatamente; anche il file di registrazione dello schermo con VLC risulta vuoto.
Nelle normali chiamate Skype invece l'immagine è regolare, ma il suono si interrompe immediatamente allo stesso modo, e ritorna a tratti istantaneamente per poi scomparire.
I controlli dell'audio nelle preferenze di sistema sono regolarmente settati su altoparlanti e microfono del Mac.

MacBook Pro 13 2018, MacOS 10.15.5, QuickTime Player 10.5, Skype 8.61.0.77, VLC 3.0.10

Eppure ti chiede di impostare i controlli in altro modo:

"Swapping the shadow maps in BGM_ClientMap".
Ma più di questo non so dirti
