Salve Maccanici,
da quando ieri ho aggiornato l'ultima versione di Firefox 97.0, se apro una pagina Facebook ho sempre una schermata bianca. Funziona solo per gli URL mobile come per esempio https://m.facebook.com/Bonazeta.net/ - e la pagina https://business.facebook.com/[/url] (ora sono loggato)
- Avrei provato a sovrascrivere Firefox 91.6.0 ESR ma il sistema dice che perderei l'account e i segnalibri -
Cosa fare? Vi è successo anche a voi? Consigli Upgrade hardware -

Ps . l'imac ha 2 anni di vita, non l'ho mai formattato, le estensioni installate su Firefox fanno rallentare ed esaurire la Ram di 8GB poco dopo che è acceso ( vedi foto )

Scusa la battuta, sembra che sia una caratteristica tuo Mac. Domanda preliminare: come fai a convivere con Avast? macOS ha già di suo un efficace antivirus, se tieni aggiornato macOS sei già a posto e non incappi in problemi come potrebbe essere questo.

Di sicuro un "cancella cronologia - tutto" ci sta.

In generale non si cambia un hardware solo per un problema/incompatibilità software nella fruizione web che può essere temporaneo o facilmente risolvibile con una pulizia/reset del programma o l'uso di un programma alternativo.


In ogni caso se elenchi le caratteristiche hardware specifiche della tua macchina possiamo capire se c'è qualcosa che è migliorabile a prescindere da questo problema.

In ogni caso se elenchi le caratteristiche hardware specifiche della tua macchina possiamo capire se c'è qualcosa che è migliorabile a prescindere da questo problema.

Vedo che Bonazeta ha aggiunto al suo primo post il report di EtreCheck. Non ho avuto modo di guardarlo ma ho visto che il Mac è un ottimo 2019 le cui prestazioni sono purtroppo mortificate dall’HD meccanico e dai soli 8GB di ram. Anche se la sola sostituzione dell’HD con un SSD o l’uso di un SSD esterno farebbe già fare un salto enorme alle prestazioni generali, io aumenterei anche la RAM a 16GB. Alla fine è un Mac che potrebbe essere ottimo per ancora molti anni.

Anche per me Facebook si apre perfettamente con Firefox 97.0.
Il mio consiglio immediato è quello di eliminare radicalmente l’antivirus Avast.
Già la utente amoeba ti ha parlato della inutilità, se non anche pericolosità, di Avast per cui non mi dilungo oltre.
Avast ha realizzato un tool per disinstallare proprio il suo Avast Security dal Mac. Questo il link

Poi, per avere la certezza che tutto sia stato eliminato a dovere, ti consiglio con l'app EasyFind di verificare se vi sono ancora “tracce” di file attinenti ad Avast Security.
Se trovi qualcosa, ovviamente, va subito eliminato cioè spostato nel Cestino.

Ho visto la risposta che ti ha dato oggi l’utente iMaurizio e ti confermo che sono perfettamente d’accordo con lui per cui mi associo nella richiesta di avere più informazioni sulla tua macchina.
Una sintesi delle caratteristiche la puoi trovare in Mela > Informazioni su questo Mac > Panoramica ed inviarci uno screenshot del pannello.
ATTENZIONE: prima però va cancellato il Numero di serie del tuo modello di Mac, che non va mai divulgato!

Infine, sarebbe utile che ci inviassi il report Profile che viene prodotto dall’app DetectX Swift ed anche il risultato della ricerca di DetectX, cioè se è tutto OK.
