Buonasera,

ho un Imac 21,5 metà 2011. Da un po' di tempo è lentissimo nell'aprire i files (e spesso addirittura si blocca) e nel visualizzare il contenuto delle cartelle, aprire le email e quanto altro. Spesso mail e anteprima si bloccano quando lancio il comando di stampa, dopo essersi aperta la finestra di dialogo.

Sono sempre stato un sostenitore dei Mac, ma non vi nascondo che da qualche tempo mi verrebbe voglia di fare un passo indietro.

Spero che con il vostro aiuto possa risolvere questa annosa questione.

Allora, leggendo il forum ho visto che suggerite di far fare un checkup con EtreCheck.

Io questo passaggio l'ho già fatto e allego il report.

Con 12 GB di RAM ti va in swap, anche se solo di un MB. Non dovrebbe succedere.


Le successive informazioni di diagnosi che seguono per me sono aramaico, attendi qualcuno bravo

Ciao Monsier Marcel, benvenuto nel Forum.

Il file di configurazione /etc/launchd.conf lo devi eliminare.
Non funziona più in Yosemite e può solo apportare eventualmente guai.
Tra l'altro credo sia associato a pcscd autostart.
Elimina pcscd autostart ed il software che lo ha installato (un lettore di schede?).
Probabilmente è quello che crea il problema

A cosa ti serve Aruba hideswitch? Eventualmente eliminala

Elimina, non nascondere, TUTTO quello che hai in Preferenze di Sistema, Utenti e gruppi, Elementi del Login

Dimmi coma va dopo un riavvio
Semmai risolveremo altri problemi

oggi la situazione è un pochino migliorata anche se, grazie al vostro aiuto, vorrei ritornare ai vecchi splendori

per quanto riguarda autostad ho individuato la cartella con i file e in monitoraggio attività mi pare di avere individuato il processo correlato.

Che faccio adesso? Elimino i due files nella cartella LaunchDaemons? Da monitoraggio attività devo prima dare il comando di uscita dal processo correlato?

Dovresti eliminare il software che ti ha installato Autostart, prima di tutto.
Poi sì quei due file e tutti quelli che hanno la stessa radice del nome.
Fallo con EasyFind o simili cercatori boleani.

Potrebbe essere che il software originale (forse un lettore di schede) tu l'abbia già disinstallato (male).
Nel caso elimina solo i residui.

Per il resto, no.
Una volta eliminati quei file e correlati, i processi spariranno.
Basterà riavviare e controllare se tutto è tornato a posto.

Ti consiglio in seguito anche uno svuotamento delle cache, utente, sistema e kernel.
Utilizza un tool abituale, puoi farlo con OnyX se non ne hai

Passa a El Capitan, una volta ripulito il tutto.

Se avessi la pazienza e il tempo, oltre che la voglia, potresti anche fare un'installazione pulita

Se come sospettiamo il problema è hardware non c'è molto da fare.
Fai un backup completo, inizializza l'hard disk e reinstalla il sistema e i tuoi dati.
Se dovesse migliorare continua a usarlo finché dura ma naturalmente tienilo d'occhio (sempre facendo backup frequenti) e naturalmente preparati a sostituirlo.

Ti ringrazio moltissimo per la tua gentilezza. per quanto riguarda i backup li faccio quotidianamente con time macine su time capsule.

Non ti nascondo che sono abbastanza terrorizzato dell'inizializzazione: è il computer di lavoro e ho se qualcosa andasse storto sarebbe un problema serio. Ho moltissimo dati importanti anche sul windows installato con il parallel che utilizzo per necessità.

Da cosa può essere dipeso il problema hardware? usura?

Per il momento ringrazio tutti per la squisita gentilezza.

Vi posto un report fatto or ora con EtreCheck. La situazione è (leggermente) migliorata da ieri, ma è ben distante da come ho conosciuto il mac, a conferma del fatto che deve trattarsi un un problema dell'hardware.

Se comunque avete qualche altro consiglio da darmi, per migliorare ancora un po' la situazione, ve ne sono grato.
